NEW FEATURES
REVISED FRONT GEOMETRY What we're learning in our Snow Cross and Cross Country racing programs is being transferred to the showroom as quickly as possible. 10 changes in the front end alone include new a-arms, new tie-rods, new spindles, new ski rubber and more... all designed to improve overall handling and bump stability. These geometry changes also improve predictability and stability, and allow for flatter cornering. Steering effort is more consistent, while bump steer is reduced. Tracking and darting are also reduced. This all adds up to improved confidence, no matter where you ride.
STANDARD FEATURES
GENESIS 130 FI 4-STROKE ENGINE The fast-revving, high torque 130hp-class Genesis 130FI boasts a huge acceleration advantage over the competition. That advantage can be credited to the smooth-running 1050cc 3-cylinder design and the use of Yamaha's advanced fuel injection technology. The Genesis 130FI uses lightweight crank technology and the fuel injection system to deliver razor-sharp throttle response.
ADVANCED FUEL INJECTION The Genesis 130FI uses Yamaha's advanced fuel injection system to control fuel flow to the engine. Consumers enjoy the engine's hassle-free, spot-on performance and throttle response as a result of the advanced electronic fuel injection system.
ENGINE BRAKING REDUCTION SYSTEM The Genesis 130FI features the unique Engine Braking Reduction System. The system allows a small amount of air to pass through the fuel injection system when the throttle is released, giving riders more of a "coast" feeling when they chop the throttle.

FORCED AIR RADIATOR DUCTING The FX Nytro RTX SE's airflow design pulls fresh air in from around the headlight and forces it through the radiator fins for high cooling capacity, resulting in consistent engine performance even in low-snow conditions.
15" x 121" x 1.25 CAMOPLAST RIP SAW TRACK The Camoplast Rip Saw track is a standard feature on the FX Nytro. It has been widely acclaimed in the industry as the best all-around OEM track for acceleration, cornering bite and everyday trail usage. The Rip Saw" track development is the result of a collaborative effort between Yamaha and Camoplast.
FX CHASSIS WITH SPORT RIDER-FORWARD POSITION The compact design puts the engine down low and back in the chassis, leaving the top of the cab open for airflow. This gives the FX Nytro a very centralized mass. The FX Nytro's sport rider-forward ergonomic design puts the rider in an aggressive, yet comfortable, forward posture.
GYTR DUAL-CLICKER FRONT SHOCKS Lightweight premium GYTR" dual-clicker shocks offer riders the highest level of tunability on the market with 12 clicks of compression AND 20 clicks of rebound damping. Large, glove-friendly knobs make adjustments easy. The piggyback reservoir gives the shock increased fade resistance in periods of intense use.
DUAL SHOCK CK REAR SUSPENSION The race-proven Dual Shock CK rear suspension is the culmination of four years of development, testing, racing and redevelopment to produce the ultimate big bump rear suspension. The FX Nytro's rear suspension is engineered to handle the deep pits and big moguls you'll find in the ditches and trails. The rear shock uses a compression-adjusting clicker on its remote reservoir to allow owners to tune the setup to their liking.
LIGHTWEIGHT CF DIECAST FX CHASSIS The integration of the chaincase into the chassis member is one of the benefits of Yamaha's exclusive Controlled Flow die casting technology. By reducing the small air bubbles in the metal as it's cast, engineers can design thinner walled and more complex components to the point that a whole chaincase can be cast into the chassis.
OVER-THE-ENGINE STEERING The snocross-proven over-the-engine steering configuration on all FX Nytro's give the rider excellent posture on the sled. It also allows the engine to be tucked deep into the chassis for optimum balance and mass centralization which contributes to the sled's overall handling characteristic.
DIGITAL GAGUE The FX Nytro's digital gauge displays key information at a glance. Vehicle speed is displayed on a large LCD readout either in miles or kilometers per hour. In addition, the rider can select tachometer, odometer or tripmeter data to appear on secondary readout. The gauge also displays system warning lights, fuel level, warmer intensity so that the rider can monitor the sled's operation easily.
OIL SAVINGS No matter how you slice it, a 2-stroke engine is a 100% oil loss system you pour it in, the sled spews it out. Yamaha 4-stroke engines don't use injection oil, so you're not always chasing the next quart. Look at the savings you'll enjoy with a Yamaha 4-stroke versus a 2-stroke engine!
