GENESIS 150 FI
The high-performance 150hp-class Genesis 150FI engine is built with exotic materials and Yamaha's high-tech manufacturing processes to be lightweight, durable and highly potent. The lightweight crank design and advanced fuel injection system give this engine right-now performance. Its broad power curve is easy to clutch and it delivers excellent acceleration out of a backshift.

ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION
Electronically controlled throttle bodies read your thumb almost before you slam the throttle lever to the bar. Computerized circuitry recognizes barometric pressure, ambient temperature, throttle position, engine rpm and everything else that matters to get you up to speedimmediately.

RIDER FORWARD
Comfort. Stability. Control. Apex snowmobiles bring rider and sled together into a "ready" position. Forward-mount handlebars and high-rise comfort saddle bring you forward, positioning you to respond to the trail. You sit tall to read the bumps. Legs and feet come naturally to an action position without being forced into one riding position. Serious riders. Ready for winter's serious challenge. Bring it on.

OIL SAVINGS
No matter how you slice it, a 2-stroke engine is a 100% oil loss system you pour it in, the sled spews it out. Yamaha 4-stroke engines don't use injection oil, so you're not always chasing the next quart. Look at the savings you'll enjoy with a Yamaha 4-stroke versus a 2-stroke engine!

SERIOUS SAVINGS
Yamaha four strokes offer serious advantages in performance, reliability and fuel and oil efficiency. They're engineered to let you master the snow whether you ride hundreds of miles of groomed trails a day, seek out big moguls, or cruise with the family. They offer serious advantages for serious riders who don't want to waste money on expensive-to-operate two strokes.

SUSPENSION
ProActive CK rear suspension is engineered for exceptional rough trail handling and comfort. The torsion spring design allows you to preload before the big one comes and spring over the top. The piggyback reservoir clicker shock lets you dial in the compression damping to your liking.

FOX FLOAT AIR SHOCKS
Contained in a lightweight aluminum body, a nitrogen-charged internal floating piston works with the air spring to reduce weight and shock fade in the roughest conditions. They cut three pounds per sled, as compared to traditional coil over springs. They are individually tunable by using a pocket-sized air pump, which comes with the sled. Advantage RTX.

ROUGH TRAIL FRIENDLY
Rider forward seating and wide, hooked-end bars set you in control. Move freely. Wide running boards let you plant your boots to conquer everything from straight-line stutter bumps to full-on suspension sucking moguls. Beat the trail.

MORE POWER
With peak power of about 150 horses, Yamaha's lightweight Genesis 150 fuel-injected four-stroke parties past the competition's two strokes in smoothness and consistent torque. Feel the free-revving four-stroke's wide power band. EFI means crisp, instant response. Aluminum 20-valve head. Genesis 150 masters serious performance.

MORE EFFICIENT
Fifty years of advanced engineering technology means Yamaha four strokes enjoy miles-per-gallon advantages, fewer fuel stops, cleaner combustion, no two stroke odour. With fuel prices reaching record highs, Yamaha's four-stroke advantages are clear. And Yamaha four strokes can't be matched for consistent reliable performance.

LESS WEIGHT
Ever since the first Yamaha four-stroke snowmobile was introduced, power efficiency has increased while weight has decreased. Yamaha has engineered more four strokes than all other snowmobile manufacturers combined. Magnesium, titanium and aluminum components enhance performance and reliability while also reducing weight.

ELECTRIC START
Every Yamaha snowmobile comes standard with electric start. Shouldn't every so-called high-tech new sled in the 21st century?
